1. Nature of the wallet

Your wallet is a record of funds held by us on your behalf with our payment partners pending settlement to your designated bank or M-Pesa account. Wallet balances are not bank deposits, are not insured by the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation, and do not earn interest.

2. Funding sources

  • Sale proceeds (vendors and affiliates).
  • Refunds where the original payment method cannot accept return funds.
  • Promotional credits issued by FelbaStore (subject to expiry and conditions).

3. Risk holds & reserves

We may hold or freeze part of your balance where we reasonably suspect fraud, dispute risk, regulatory enquiry or unresolved chargebacks. Reasonable holds are released when the underlying risk clears.

4. Settlement cadence

Sale proceeds are released to your wallet on a rolling 7-day cycle after fulfilment confirmation, net of fees, commission, refunds and reserves.

5. Payouts

Once your balance exceeds KES 1000 (vendors) / KES 1000 (affiliates), you can request a payout to a verified bank or M-Pesa account in your legal name. We may decline payouts that fail KYC, AML screening or appear linked to prohibited activity.

6. Negative balances

Refunds, chargebacks or claw-backs may push your balance below zero. You agree to repay any negative balance on demand and within 7 days. We may set off against future credits and pursue collection through lawful means.

7. Dormant accounts

Wallets inactive for 24 consecutive months are flagged. After reasonable notice, balances may be subject to maintenance fees or treated in accordance with the Unclaimed Financial Assets Act, 2011 as may apply.

8. Closure

On account closure, payable balances are transferred to your verified payout account after KYC, AML clearance and resolution of any open disputes or holds.

9. Limitations

We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate payout details you supplied, by your payment-provider downtime, or for indirect or consequential losses. Statutory liability is unaffected.
