Commissions and seller payout calculation
Felbastore charges commission on completed marketplace orders. The exact amount depends on the product, category, seller plan, payment method, and any active commission rule at checkout.
Core formula
Item gross is normally quantity multiplied by the selling price before payout. Discounts, shipping, and tax are included only when the active rule says that they are part of the commission base.
Order is paid
The customer pays and the order is created.
Rules are matched
Felbastore checks product, category, plan, country, and payment method.
Commission is snapshotted
The rate used on that order item is stored permanently.
Payout is released
Your wallet receives the order amount minus applicable fees.

Worked example
Example using an item sold at KES 16,000.00, a standard 8% commission, and a 1% stackable M-Pesa surcharge.
Most rules use item subtotal. Some rules can use subtotal after discount, subtotal plus shipping, or subtotal plus shipping and tax.
Some payment methods may add a stackable fee to recover gateway costs. If active, it appears as a separate rule.
Refunds use the commission snapshot from the original order, so later rule changes do not rewrite old orders.
Eligible seller earnings move to your vendor wallet after the configured order completion and hold-period checks.
